3D Design

Whatever the product may be, implementation always starts at the drawing board. Regardless of the manufacturing technology, 2D drawings or a 3D model of the part to be manufactured are required. Whether it is machining, casting, or any other type of processing, the same applies to 3D printing as well. Different professional fields have their own design rules and design principles, and naturally this is also true for additive manufacturing technologies.

Our company has extensive experience in design related to the technologies we use, so if our clients do not come to us with ready-made plans, we are able to fully serve their design needs, from simple modeling to complete mechanical design covering the entire project, even in cases where additive manufacturing is used only for prototyping and production is carried out using another technology. In such cases, we cooperate with the necessary professional fields and keep the required design principles in mind during the design process.

3D scanning is closely related to 3D design, since the scanned data file cannot be used directly on its own. Accurate reverse modeling of scanned products into CAD files is a meticulous engineering task, but it is indispensable in cases where a product without an existing data file needs to be reproduced accurately. In such cases, manual measurements could only approximate the original model, whereas scanning and reverse engineering make it possible to create a copy with much tighter tolerances.
